Privacy policy
Packaging Team operates SENA and ETTA. Both services use one Packaging Team account, and the information each service collects differs as described below. Common items apply to both services. If this English version differs from the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.
Common: account and login
- When you sign up, we collect your email address and a login identifier (issued by Amazon Cognito). You can log in to both SENA and ETTA with the same account.
- If you log in with Google or Apple, we receive the email address and account identifier that company provides. If an account already exists with the same email, the two are linked into one.
- Premium is subscribed to separately for each service. If you subscribe, we store your subscription status (whether you are subscribed and the expiration date). Payments are processed by the App Store or Google Play, and we do not receive payment method information such as card numbers. We use RevenueCat to verify purchase history; your login identifier and purchase history are sent.
- When an error occurs in the app or on the web, we collect the error details and device and browser information and use them to fix the problem (Sentry). This does not include login information or what you entered.
- On the web, we show Google AdSense ads to users who are not on Premium. Google and its partners use cookies to read your visits to choose ads. You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ad Settings. What you enter is not shared with ad companies.
- Common service providers: Amazon Web Services (Tokyo region: login, server, database, backups), Vercel (web hosting), Google and Apple (login, if you choose it), RevenueCat, App Store and Google Play (subscriptions).
SENA
Information we collect
- We store what you enter yourself: the cards you own, last month's spending, payment records (amount, category, merchant, memo), names of cash and bank accounts, budgets, and monthly recurring payments. We do not collect financial information such as card numbers, account numbers, or payment authorization history.
- If you add a photo you took of one of your cards and you are logged in, we keep it on our server so you can see it across devices. If you change the photo or delete your account, we delete it from the server too. If you are not logged in, it stays only on your device.
- If you use Log from photo (Premium), the photo you choose is sent to our server and to Anthropic to read the payment details. The photo is removed right after it is read and is not stored anywhere.
- If you report that a benefit differs from reality, we store your report and the recommendation conditions at that time (category, amount, card) and use them to fix card data.
- We use location to recommend nearby stores and to build your spending map, only if you allow it. Location is sent to our server only when a recommendation is calculated, and coordinates are never stored. In-store payment records and visited neighborhoods keep only the neighborhood name and date.
- To improve the service, we collect usage events such as which screens you viewed, whether you added a card, or saved a record (PostHog). They do not include amounts, merchant names, memos, or your email, and no cookies are used.
- Natural language input (such as "Starbucks 20,000 won") is sent to our server to interpret the category and amount, and is logged together with the interpretation to improve the service.
How we use it and service providers
- We use it only to calculate card recommendations, show your ledger and spending, sync across devices, respond to errors, and improve the service. The cards and records you enter are not used for advertising or marketing and are not shared with or sold to third parties.
- Kakao (Kakao Local API): searching for stores near your current location; only coordinates are sent. Anthropic: interpreting natural language input and reading payments from photos; only the text you enter and the photo you choose are sent, and they are not stored. PostHog (United States): usage analytics. Amazon S3: card photo storage.
Retention and deletion
- Your account information and records are deleted immediately when you close your account. You can close your account yourself with "Delete account" in Settings on the Wallet screen. Records you kept without logging in exist only on your device and are erased by clearing the app data or browser data.
ETTA
Information we collect
- Calendars and events: title, date and time, memo, repeat rule, and shared calendar memberships.
- Places: only the name, address, and coordinates of places you choose. We do not store your device location.
- Attachments: photos and text you add to an event (Amazon S3, Tokyo region, encrypted).
How we use it and who can see it
- We use it only to provide the service. Events, places, and attachments in a shared calendar are visible to that calendar's members.
- When you share an event, anyone with the link can see that event's title, date and time, and places even before logging in. Emails and attachments are not shown. A logged-in person may see the calendar owner's email on the invite screen.
Service providers and transfers abroad
- Anthropic (United States): only when you tap "Find places in attachments", that attachment's photos and text and the event title and date are sent to read place names. Under its commercial terms, they are not used to train models (Anthropic commercial terms).
- Kakao: place search queries and map display.
Retention and deletion
- If you leave ETTA, events and places in your calendars and attachments you added are deleted immediately. Events and places you created in a shared calendar stay in that calendar, with only the author removed. Your Packaging Team account remains because it is shared with SENA.
- A shared calendar you created passes to the member who joined first if there are other members, and attachments added by other members remain.
Common: backups, your rights, contact
- Backup copies are deleted progressively within 30 days.
- You may request to view, correct, or delete your information at any time. Do it yourself in the app, or contact us at the address below.
